As part of our corporate and social responsibility, we are proud to support the following:

esiLittleLambs01Little Lambs school, Chennai, India, run by the Little Lambs Educational Trust aims to help underprivileged children get excellent education. The trust has run a Nursery and Primary School for 200+ children since 1999. The trust also gives scholarships to deserving children when they leave Little Lambs school and go to other secondary schools. It runs a tuition centre and after-school programme for these children as well

The trust also runs three homes: Little Lambs Children’s Home, Boy’s Home and the latest addition is the Girl’s Home. These homes help children who do not have parents or are neglected/abused to get a new chance in life

esicradle01Cradle is a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), based in Ireland, working with children and community development projects in Bosnia & Herzegovina, Albania, Thailand and Moldova

It was originally formed in November 1992 by a group of people who held fundraising events to generate aid for children in Bosnia & Herzegovina and their families. It continues to supply aid to children in the Balkans. In 1999, with the outbreak of the Kosovo crisis the charity expanded its work to include Kosovo and Albania

In response to the tsunami disaster which happened in December 2004, the charity decided to work outside of the Balkans and to bring its well established projects to the areas affected most in Thailand. These projects include school rebuilding projects, house rebuilding projects and student support projects

Cradle deliver aid and financial support collected from individuals, businesses and the government to children in Bosnia & Herzegovina, Albania, Thailand and Moldova making sure that all of it reaches the proper destinations

ESI are the principal sponsor of an annual Cork to Galway charity cycle. Additionally, many staff members also personally raise sponsorship funds and take part in the event

esichildaideverestChildaid is a charity that supports child-orientated projects which will help them get out of the harsh and brutal conditions of slum life. It strives to improve the welfare of disadvantaged children through education, health and residential care projects

Childaid was founded by members of the Irish Defence Forces, and friends, who had first hand experience of the dire conditions experienced by children in the slums of East Africa, especially Kenya & Rwanda

Childaid’s mission is the eradication of extreme poverty, disease and hunger for children in the developing world, while ensuring that each child has the essential means to a productive life

The Cork Cancer Research Centre acts as a foundation upon which inter-disciplinary research programmes are built. It has initiated, and continues to encourage, the interaction of scientists and clinicians with complementary skills

Cork Cancer Research Centre investigates major issues in the development and treatment of cancer, through teams of university based scientists and collaborating clinicians at multiple teaching hospitals. The centre researches both primary and secondary disease which has already led to multiple clinical trials. Its main focus is the development of new treatments for cancer that do not currently respond to conventional therapies
