304L & 316L Stainless Steel

DIMENSIONS

ASTM tube sizes from 0.125” (3.18 mm) to 8.00” (203.2 mm).

REFERENCE DOCUMENTS

ASTM: A269 and A632.

PIPE & TUBE LENGTH

Nominal lengths: 10-foot or 20-foot.

MATERIAL TYPES

ASTM: Single-melt (seamless or welded).

TOLERANCE

Following ASTM: A269 and A263.

FINISH

The tube shall be supplied with a bright annealed finish.

WELD ENDS

Square ends are suitable for orbital welding.

CLEANING

Tube cleaning conforms to ASTM G93.0 specification for use in oxygen-enriched environments.

TESTING & INSPECTION

Visual and dimensional inspection.

MARKING & TRACEABILITY

Each tube is marked with size, wall thickness, ASTM specification, stainless steel type, and heat number.

LABELLING

Each component’s bag is affixed with a label identifying the component’s part number.

DOCUMENTATION

A Quality Inspection Certificate can be provided upon request. The report contains the following information:

Material composition
Nominal outside diameter size
Chemical composition
Statement of quality assurance testing
Lot and heat identification for traceability

PACKAGING

All tubing is capped, bagged, and packaged for shipment in such a manner which prevents damage to the product and primary product packaging.

QUALITY

The HIS quality program incorporated non-destructive and destructive testing, statistical process control, dimensional, and operator auditing on products.

Specifications

Tubing is manufactured to ASTM A249/A269 and ASME SA249 requirements.
Stainless steel is manufactured to ASTM A312 and ASME SA312 requirements.
