Quality Certification & Scope
ESI operates in a highly regulated marketplace and hence places a huge emphasis on obtaining the most appropriate and reputable product and system certifications. As such, we work very closely with various internationally recognised certification bodies. Our Quality Management System is accredited, by NQA, to ISO 9001:2015. All our operations, in both Ireland and the UK, are included within the scope of our ISO 9001 certified Quality Management System.
With the support of our industry-leading supplier base, we provide full product and component traceability to all customers where there is a requirement for such.
ESI operates a proactive and wide-ranging change management process, in compliance with all relevant industry and customer-specific protocols. All suppliers are made aware of their change management responsibilities, and our absolute requirement is to be notified, in advance, of any potential changes to their ESI-related products, procedures or services, or indeed changes to associated manufacturing processes/locations. Both internal ESI changes and those externally received Change Notifications, as forwarded from our suppliers and service providers, are documented meticulously, and communicated appropriately, to our customer base.
Our company Quality Policy is reviewed on an annual basis, as part of our Management Review, and this policy document sets the agenda/framework for our Quality Management System. The ESI quality policy is to operate a fully functional, and effective, quality management system (QMS), certified by ISO 9001:2015. The company aims to deliver high-quality products/services on time, competitively priced, and with technical/innovative backup. The service will be efficient, responsive and customer-focused. It is a primary focus of top management that the requirements of the QMS be as integrated as possible into the wider business processes and that the ongoing development of our QMS will be centred on continuous improvement, risk-based thinking, and a process-based approach, Indutrade, as ultimate owners of the business, are fully committed to supporting the company Quality Policy and Quality Objectives.
Targets, objectives, and key performance are agreed upon and reviewed as part of our Management Review process, and these objective measures serve to drive continuous improvement of our Quality Management System, as well as all the associated processes, products, and services. Individual employee and company-wide targets and objectives are always in-line with overall company strategy, and indeed the corporate vision.
