Fluortubing Convoluted Braided PTFE Tubing

Fluortubing’s general-purpose PTFE hose is designed to meet a wide range of application needs. It features a high-tensile grade 304 stainless steel wire braid, offering excellent protection against internal pressure and external abrasion. For applications requiring enhanced corrosion resistance, a 316 stainless steel braid is available upon request. Optional braid materials include polypropylene, PVDF, and aramid.

Fluortubing Antistatic Convoluted SS Braided Hose

The antistatic (AS) grade is essential where electrostatic charge build-up on the PTFE inner surface could lead to discharge through the hose wall. It is specifically recommended for applications involving:

• Twin or multi-phase media
• Non-mixing media (e.g., powders in air, water droplets in steam, gas/oil)
• Colloidal fluids

These conditions present a high risk of static charge generation, making the AS grade a critical safety and performance feature.
