  • Secondary Sealing: The space around the can be sealed against the rolling bearings by means of special shaft or labyrinth seals.

If the can is damaged, the drive side and atmosphere would be protected against the medium for a certain time. Therefore, in conjunction with one of the monitors, this results in an effective preventative environmental protection in the case of critical media.
